Admin & Compliance Department - Meet the Team

Admin & compliance in estate agency is often thought of as a ‘back office’ service in the industry, but in fact the purpose of this important department is absolutely vital to the running of an estate agents’ office, in order to comply with the law – there is a never-ending list of legislation and requirements which must be carried out correctly before a property can be placed on the market, or a sale or let can be agreed.

We are proud to have a team of 7 administrators across our 5 offices and we are delighted to announce that Sam Norman, who has been with the department for two years, has recently been promoted to Head of Admin & Compliance, based at our Newbury office. Sam works alongside Sara Robinson, Megan Kemp and the newest member of our team, Alex Pike, at Newbury, as well as, in our other offices, Charlie Douglas at Devizes and Katrina Church and Cath Day at Didcot.

The team get together every month to ensure that all protocols and processes are being strictly adhered to and to discuss any legislation updates and training requirements.

Operations & Marketing Manager Jo Woolley oversees the Admin & Compliance department and is the group's Money Laundering Reporting Officer, providing staff across our offices with regular refresher training for AML and GDPR requirements. She added, “Our sales and lettings teams could not manage without the hard work and dedication of the admin team and we are so grateful for everything they do!"
